“we love entertaining, what we do isn’t work, it’s personal, for you and for us…”

Rebecca Mackenzie

Rebecca, an experienced General Manager and Event Director, has taken care of many notable society occasions, the likes of catering for the Royal Norfolk Show Ball for four years of the Grand Tenth Anniversary Gala Dinner for The East Anglian Air Ambulance, the East Anglian Game and Country Fair members’ enclosure and both Ormiston Families’ Walk With A Fork fundraisers at Helmingham Hall and Sennowe Park.

At home with catering for hundreds or looking after an intimate family occasion, a fine dining banquet of ten courses or a River Cottage-style feast in a farmyard, her flexible approach and detailed planning help ensure the proceedings run without a hitch and go off in style.

Together

Rebecca and Stephen are a tried-and-tested partnership, looking after outside events for nearly 20 years, building close friendships with aristocratic families, prestigious clients and blue chip charities. Taking Royalty and household names in their stride, clients value that their trademark tact and discretion are paramount accompanied by their signature unflappable approach and consummate professionalism.

Co-founders of The Woodbridge Shuck seafood festival, this iconic East Anglian foodie celebration is all about supporting local food producers and creating awareness for the next generation of young chefs. Having launched the Chefs’ Academy at the North Suffolk Skills Academy in Halesworth and running it for four years, Stephen and Rebecca love seeing the next generation of young chefs coming through.

Huge supporters of community charities, the East Anglian Air Ambulance, Ormiston Families and The Fishermen’s Mission are close to their hearts. Recently in 2018, Stephen supported Carl Bowley helping to run service for his 24 hours Cookathon at Seckford Hall in aid of Cancer Research.

Seeing The Hoste Arms listed in The Times Top 100 Hotels in the World was perhaps the highest testament to their hard work and dedication.
